Love Never Fails

Today, I got back from disney world with Sarah. Usually when people go on vacation they forget to still put God in your life. Vacation doesnt mean you are away from your faith, just your hometown. Everywhere you go, put God in everything you do. There are many people out there who are Christian. Most of them dont show it. One day, I was wearing a shirt that said "I am a Bible Smuggler" on it. We were taking the bus and there was a family sitting across from us. A kid and his dad would every once in a while look at my shirt and I could tell they were interested. So on the second bus we took, the father came over to me and said they noticed my shirt. He gave me a $20 dollar bill that had a Christian message on it. It was awesome to interact with other believers that you have never seen before in your life. Your not the only one out there. Act on your faith and you will be noticed.
We stayed at Ft. Wilderness. Every day we had housekeeping service. One morning, I decided to leave out a Bible scripture and message on my bed for the house keeper to read. On the piece of paper, she replied, "thank you, God bless." I may have made that persons day or even her life. We are sent out to be missionaries. All of these jobs out there, carpenter, teacher, nurse, etc. are all disguises. Behind all that, is a missionary. Our real job is to do Gods work.
The day that we went to hollywood studios, was pretty inspiring. After we got off a ride, I heard Lecrae music playing from radio disney people and a plane in the sky writing letters. When the plane was done it said, "U + God = :), trust in Jesus" When this happened, i took it as a sign from God that I was doing my job right. He was proud of me. I was leaving notes and scriptures for the house keeper and being nice to every one.
you cant just put God in your life during church, youth group, bible studies, etc. and then forget about Him when you are done. He is always going to be there with you. You will never be able to run Him out of your life for one second. Spread His love. Do everything in Gods will!
Thank you
God bless

Friend

Today was my bestfriends birthday. I went over to his house to hang out with him for the day. We were sitting in the sunroom and his dad decided to go get the mail. When he came back, there was a letter to Eric from dad. His dad swore he didnt write it. When he opened it, it was a letter from God. He was so shocked and kept freaking out on his parents saying that they wrote it.
We went into his room and he told me that he was so sketched out because last night, he was praying for God to show him a sign. I thought this was so amazing. Hopefully this will make such an impact on him. I am concerned with Eric. He is heading down the wrong path in life. He is judging others, moving from girl to girl like they are a toy, and hanging around the wrong people. My mission is to try to bring him our way and not the worlds. I am having him come to church tomorrow. I have hope that he will come around. But he cant do this alone. He needs to have God by his side. I gave him a little notebook today as a gift. I told him that he can use it to write to God. It seemed like he liked it.
He is my bestfriend and I would hate to see him ruin his life.
Father, be with Eric as he tries to overcome this situation he is in.
Amen

Dreams

We have dreams of becoming this perfect person. My dream is to become a youth leader so that I can encourage teens to grow up with God by their side. So many teens today are getting into sex, drugs, and alcohol. We need to prevent that by showing them Jesus. He is the cure to all our problems. Another dream of mine is to have my own Christian clothing company. I admire Kerruso if you are familiar with that brand. I love designing. But I want to do it in a way of giving a positive message to all the people. Recently I have been having people ask me to design them shirts or logos. This is encouraging me to take this to the next level. Instead of making shirts under the table...I want to be known.
I have been deciding about what college I want to go to. I have so many choices. The three colleges I have in mind right now is Lancaster Bible College, Messiah College, and York Art Institute. I like Messiah because they have a art program. I really would like to go to LBC. For some reason, God is calling me there. Our pastor tonight told me that I should go to LBC but also take night classes at York Art Institute. I need to get a degree in youth ministry and graphic design. This is so hard to think about. Keep praying for me so that everything will work out. Thank you!

Armor of God!

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
                                                                                                                Ephesians 6:10-17

I just made this wooden cross not to long ago to place at my dog's grave that recently passed. Instead of just using this for her, I use it for myself. Every night I make my way down the yard to pray. This is where I lay my life down for Him.
Tonight was upsetting for me. Every night, Sarah, Ann, and I have a bible study/devotional at their house. Tonught, my brother joined us because we wanted to be away from home. It was my parents anniversary and we wanted to leave them alone. Ashton, my brother, wasnt very interested in our bible study. Every night I have been praying for Him so that He can make the right decisions in life. Me and my mom picked out a scripture for him so that he can say it every time he comes into a road block in life. Ephesians 6:10-17 is what we decided to use. It is perfect for him. Whenever we come into an obstacle in life, we need to put on our breastplate of righteousness, our belt of truth, and our shield of faith! God is our armor and we need to use it!
I admire the words that our pastor preaches at church. He said last summer that a Christian without a bible is like a soldier without a gun. We need to use scripture in time of battle. It is very important to have a scripture for every obstacle that comes before you.
Id love for everybody to keep my brother in your prayers. He needs it. I dont want to lose him. I cant worry because I know that God wont let anything happen to him. God has grabbed him by the heart and He will never let go. We cant get away from God. Everywhere we go, He pops up somehow in our life to show us that He is really there. You just have to look out. Put on your spiritual eyeglasses, your gospel goggles. :D I love that! We need to put on our gospel goggles and look at the bright side of things. Do everything that pleases God.

For Apart from Him we can do nothing!

I know I havent been posting like i should have but I just had this urge to come on here and pour out. Just recently, Sarah(girlfriend), Ann, and I have started bible studies/devotions. I came up with this idea to get each one of us closer to God. Yesterday night, I found out that Sarah doesnt know much about the bible. It suprised me because she hasnt really spoken of it. So now, Ann and I are on a mission to get her where she needs to be. Ann and I were talking quite a bit about her sister. Sarah hasnt known anything about her all her life. I felt like it was the right time to tell Sarah. I dont want to post what this is about because it is a personal issue. But tonight Ann talked to Sarah about it. We knew she was going to get upset about it. Ann has to take it as it comes. Her sister is such a great peron. She went to college to be a minister, but it didnt turn out good. No matter what decisions we make in life, we are all Gods children and we need to be loved the same amount.
I was told something tuly amazing the other night by Ann. My dream is to become a youth leader. Ann told me that God gave me a gift to be able to teach and save lives. I guess I was doing a pretty awesome job leading devotions. :) But that really touched my heart and gave me that encouragement that I can really fulfill my dream.
Our God is an awesome God and He works in such amazing ways!!
I want to give special thanks to Him for healing my mom! My mom recently found out that she has a tumor in her uterus. She went in for a biopsy the other day and got the results tonight. She got wonderful news that it is not cancerous and that she will be alright. All this time, I was telling myself and everybody else that she was going to be alright and some people didnt believe me because i am not a doctor. For God is the doctor and he gave me that feeling that she was fine and there was nothing to worry about.
My mom has an amazing voice, to begin with. She had a chance for a full scholarship in music but she had to turn it down for personal issues. About a week ago, she came to me and wondered if she should join the worship team at the church. Right away I contacted my friend that is on the team. He said that he would talk to the leader for an audition. This is freaking her out. Then this tumor pops up and takes her mind off of it.
Satan throws obstacles on our lives to stop us from praising our God. Once God sees this, he tries His best to eliminate the issue. God gave a gift to my mom that any human being would LOVE to have! She need to use it and not let it go to waste. I love music through worship. I always will and to hear my mom lift her voice up to Him will be so heartwarming. I love you mom and I always will!!!!
